This recipe has been served for special occasions at women’s ministry events and showers. No one really knows the actual name, so it has become known as simply “the” punch and always brings rave reviews. Debbie Simms was the woman who introduced us to this recipe and we are so glad she did!
- 46 oz. pineapple juice
- 6 oz. frozen orange juice
- 6 oz. frozen lemonade
- 6 cups water
- 4 cups sugar
- 5 bananas – pureed (use food processor)
- 2 liters of ginger ale
Boil water and sugar for 3 minutes and cool. Add bananas & pineapple juice. Combine brozen juices and water as indicated on cans and add to mixture.
Freeze in containers
Remove 2-3 hours before serving. Add 2 liters of ginger ale and ENJOY!
HOT CHOCOLATE MIX (I got this recipe when I worked as a waitress) – Colleen
- 20 quart size powdered milk
- 2 pounds of chocolate milk mix
- 8 ounces of coffee creamer (powdered)
- 2 1/2 cups of powdered sugar
- pinch of salt (optional)
Mix all ingredients until combined. Store in airtight container.
For each serving, add 1/3 cup of mix to hot water (to taste); add marshmallows for added fun.
