On occasion (usually after one of our potlucks), a new recipe will be added to this site. Most will be those creations that are popularly requested from various women’s events hosted by our congregation. The newest submission will be posted below and previous recipes will be moved to itemized tab.
Warning – these recipes may be purged on occasion…copy them down before they disappear. (However, you can always email us if you missed getting one added to your recipe collection – we’d be happy to send it to you.)
Jane’s Apple Crisp
If you have attended ANY event over the past several years, you know how quickly this dessert disappears. We have gained access to this coveted recipe – Jane generously agreed to let us in on her signature dish.
- 3 pounds Jonathan apples – cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Mix sugar and cinnamon together and mix with apple chunks. Put into greased 9×13 pan.
- 1 cup flour
- 2/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 stick butter
Mix together the flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in butter (softened)
Bake at 350° for about an hour.
